For the gas to leak out that quickly there must be a component failure somewhere. I've seen much older vehicles still holding their refrigerant.

Problem will be convincing the dealer that it's failed prematurely

Unless it is just a leak from a seal or valve, fairly easily fixed.

Just in case, first check if the air conditioner drive belt is intact. My air conditioner recently stopped working too. Good thing I opened the hood :)

Took my Jimny to an independent air con specialist this morning, who put his gauges on and checked everything.

My air con was still working correctly, but was a little low on gas, although he did say that it should be checked and refilled every 2 years, but no one bothers.

He said that the amount of gas loss was consistent with a 5 year old car and only had to add a small amount rather than a full recharge.

My compressor went from running all of the time, to only starting up for short periods and I now get a strong stream of cool air in the cab.

He was 100% sure there are no faults or leaks, so a 30 minute visit has fixed it.

My 2019 has been regassed twice now, it was 33% down on gas this April, and the on cycle time was getting quite long, it was still cooling though.
The time before I forgot to write down how much extra gas went in, but it wasn't cooling the cabin in hot weather, so probably 40-45%.

R1234yf leaches out quicker than the old r134a, they reckon 3 years is about typical between refills if you use it all the time.

Aside from punctures to the condenser in front of the radiator which will suddenly vent all the gas, the biggest leakage is from the seal at the pump shaft, using it all the time keeps the seal lubricated and soft enough to sort-of seal-ish. It leaches through the flexible pipes too. When they refill the system they generally put some fluorescent dye in to spot leaks, and some seal sweller upper which is supposed to help the pump shaft seal, but likely makes it wear faster.

(However, using it all the time contributes to wear inside the pump, the last two cars I've had the air con gave up due to pump wear after about 2000 hours use, it may take the rest of my life to put 2000 hours on the Jimny now I'm retired)

DON'T BUY THE REFILL KITS- they contain R1234yf "EQUIVALENT" which is a butane/propane mix and you will have trouble getting it filled properly after you use one as the machines detect the contamination. (You could just always fill it with butane/propane I suppose- I've seen youtube videos of people making adaptors to fill from blowlamp/cooker bottles, but I'd rather use the refrigerant it was designed for)

It is against various directives & regulations to sell r1234yf to the public.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

My January 2019 SZ5, The Climate control is still working great, if i have the vents pointing to my hands on the steering wheel it is too cold. Never been re-gased, just use it occasionally.

Mine gets as much work in winter as a dehumidifier than it does in summer for cooling. I think myth busters did a experiment with air con that suggested that at speeds below I think 45 or so open windows used less fuel than the air con and vice versa above that point and most of my driving is on roads where the corners prevent you from getting that fast anyway so I hardly bother with it. Unless it's really hot and I have my doggo with me then it's on full.
