I met up with another forum member, Sir James Rusty to go and have a gently trip along the lane to Ogle.  It was very dry, virtually no mud, completely different to when I last did it just before lock down in 2020.

There were a couple of trees across the lane, probably from Storm Arwen and also a couple of rocks, possibly put there to discourage drivers.  Another addition to the lane, a couple of road signs, one warning of a ford and the other to test your brakes.  A little redundant I thought, if you made it to the sign you would almost certainly know what to expect.  Perhaps Northumberland CC had some excess signage budget?
