Martin,
here's the Jimny with the newer taller and narrower tyres fitted today.  They drive okay and look especially good alongside the refurbished steel wheels I had done today - blasted and powder coated.   Looking good for a 24 year old.

I installed 215/75/R15 BFG KO2 just a few months after getting my Mk4 Jimny, replacing the standard Brdigestone Dueler. I found that with the K02 the Jimny was much more stable at high speed corners. The Bridgestone were very soft and would deform very easily, increasing the body roll. The KO2 tyres looked very agressive but i found the grip on wet tarmac was quite terrible. I almost crashed it 3 times. I couldn't keep up with normal cars on the corners, i would need to corner at half speed or else the  jimny would oversteer badly. On dry tarmac was not bad, you could feel  when it started slipping and when it did, you could control it easily. Not as scary as in the wet.
But offroad grip was really great even in very muddy areas. And the Jimny looked so cool with those tyres. Fuel consmption increased from 7,5 l/100 km to 8,0, which was a bit of pain and the steering became even more vague. I used the KO2 until the end.

Then i started looking for new tyres. Performance on wet tarmac was priority number 1 and still wanted AT's so i chose Toyo Open Country ATIII.
I find these tyres amazingly good. Very good grip, much better than the standard tyres, on dry and wet tarmac. Very smooth ride. Offroad grip is surprisingly good even in more muddy areas. They not be as good looking as the KO2 but they look good enough for me. Fuel consumption decreased to around 7,7 L/100 km. And they are also very stable at high speed corners as the KO2.
So, these Toyo's are have been really great for me. I can't stop recommending them to everyone.
