Hi, so I thought I'd update on this.

My Jimny was in at the dealers on Tuesday for its 2nd service.

The clonk was actually the front anti rollbar. The passenger side bush had somehow slipped out of its bracket the bar was wobbling about inside the bracket.

They have refitted and thus far ok and the swaying side to side has vanished.

Although it begs the question on how this happened. To my knowledge the bracket had not been undone since I bought the vehicle. The suspension is 100% factory standard. I have used it off road and flexed the suspension out fully on multiple occasions. So it will be interesting to see if this happens again. Or maybe it just wasn't fitted correctly from the factory.

The Ironman bumper does cover the brackets, but I don't believe they needed to be touched when fitting the bumper, but the bumper does need moving to access the anti roll bar brackets.

Have to say, I'm also surprised that this caused such a dramatic sideways motion when driving. But clearly it did.

For clarity, I do mean bush and not droplink. The item highlighted here.

The rubber bush had moved completely outside the bracket towards the passenger wheel.
