Transmission Control Module was created by CluelessJimnyOwner
Hi guys,
Really hoping someone can help me out. I need the Transmission Control Module for my 2002 Suzuki Jimny JLX 1.3 Automatic. I've looked everywhere online and cannot find one for sale. I've tried multiple repair centres that repair ECU's and such, but none of them can repair the unit.
Can anyone help me with this?
Tom

Welcome to the forum. If you drop Martin a message via the shop at the top of the page with a few vehicle details he may be able to help.

You can also search for "Breaking Jimny Automatic" on ebay / google. You get a load of breakers that require you to phone them and ask for the part, then strike a deal. Here is one google search:-
ebay.us/HLbMU8
Not saying they are any good or will have it, but it does represent how to obtain most parts second hand, but Martins your man for new^^^^^
Good luck

Thank you for your reply, much appreciated!
Don't suppose you know if the unit may have been used on any other vehicles? I did think that maybe it had been used on the Vitara or the Ignis etc, but so far it seems like it was only used on the Jimny.
It's an Aisin module, with a 38880-81A6 part number.
Cheers,
Tom

Hi
The specific part 38880-81A60 has been discontinued.
The recommended substitute part is £930
However there are 4 or 5 others varying from £600 upwards but their compatibility is not clear.
