I read on a thread here that there's updated Suzuki part number 45120-81A04 which look like the usual rubber and felt rings clamped on with a thin tinny disc.
Or
There's the Trail Gear Trail Safe kit which is a much thicker harder solid seal held in by 2 thicker semi circular plates.

I fitted the trail safe on an SJ axle... Tough job and dreading having to fit a set I got at the same time on my Toyota axles.
So
Which would you guys go for ?

Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.

Ive tried the TG ones and they are tougher as you say, but I didnt feel they were worth the extra expense over standard ones.

I wouldnt say they were any more difficult to fit though, just heavier construction.

Hi Rabid Rhino,
I would go for the OEM Suzuki seals as they work fine, and I don't understand what problem the others are attempting to fix?
Any seal needs a good surface to seal against, so if your swivels are rusty fit the cheapest as their function and life expectancy will be reduced against the rough surface.

Better seal means less grease on the swivel and then more rust and later worn seal and way more leakage.
Original ones are fine but all needs servicing and maintenance.

Thanks guys !! Stock it is then.

I also saw a review here for reconditioning the knuckle balls with POR-15 so I ordered their Rust Treatment/Prevention kit.
I tried getting it in silver as I think someone said it actually has metal particles in it but I could only find black. Besides the result the guys got with black was pretty impressive.

Yep it was me, I've got shinny balls.
POR 15 is good stuff but you need to degrease well and apply several thin coats, sanding with 400 grit between coats. This "fills in" any deep rust pitting and the final 2 coats are the finish. The good news is it drys fast with humidity. Keep the paint in your fridge once opened and keep the lid clean or you will never get it off again.
Here is a picture of my swivel taken this morning, it's still good, no rust, no leaks and it's over a year now of daily use since I did them.
It's good stuff if applied correctly.

Worth doing in my opinion.
