I know there are loads of existing streams about tyres, but I'm still puzzled. I have a 2003 Jimny, completely un modified, that I use around the farm, on existing road 205/70/R15 tyres.
Want to just get some new tyres, and stick them on the existing rims. Only road work is limited to taking it for fuel or short 10 miles runs here and there. Need good mud and grass grip for farm work to take the load of using my Polaris Ranger all day long.
Considering some 205/70/15 INSA TURBO SPECIAL TRACK 2 MUD TERRAIN 96Q as aggressive mud tyres seems limited in this wheel size.
Anyone used these, seen them before or have an opinion. I will not be changing the bodywork or lifting the suspension, so will need to work as standard.
Many thanks

They will be a little bigger than 205 road tyres but should be fine. I have seen them on a few standard cars but cannot comment on their use...
I fitted 215/75x15 on a standard car with no problems and they stand about 40-50mm taler than a 205 road tyre. Even a chunky remould should fall inside that...

Maxxis has the radial trepador in standard 205.70r15 and being a new tyre not a remould it will be nearer on size. They are my next choice when I wear out my bfg.

If was looking to run standard size muds
I would go with Recip for your type of use
I run same tread pattern as the (insa above)
very good grip wise, but very easy to damage the ground
