I have often stood in the garage crouched over the tiny screen of my phone trying to find out how to from some YouTube video. Now those days are over!
An obsolete flat screen with a chromecast now sits on a swing around mount. Hooked it up to an old stereo amp and speakers so there is Spotify and Internet radio as well. I can even have my own drive in cinema.
Martin videos all nighter next weekend!
Only annoying thing is why I didn't think of it sooner..
Any old screen with a hdmi input will do, even most pc screens..

Anyways much better to put old electronics to use than to throw away.
Reuse and re-purpose is so much better than recycle and that is far from decadent
