Hi again Guy's and Gal's.
Are there any LED headlight bulbs availiable for a 67 Plate Jimny to replace the stock halogen bulbs, or do they interfere with the electical system?
Thanks
Jake.

Nightbreaker are the future. Also it's illegal to use an led in a lamp not designed for them. It's because of the beam pattern being off because of the way the light is emitted.

Go with the night breakers as stated above and completely avoid any LED / HDI upgrade kits. As stated they are just not designed (even if they say it's Jimny Specific) for the halogen head lamp unit and with throw out an MOT fail light pattern.
Couple this to (my experience) of cheap or expensive LED bulbs - they just don't last very long. I have tried them all and the only thing they have in common is that you will be lucky to get 12 month operation out of them. The cheap ones just pack up, the expensive ones fail an LED cluster at a time, so they slowly stop providing the bright illumination you wanted them for.
I have fitted Night breaker and a 180W LED light bar, the light bar so far is lasting, it's now over 12 months old but is only used intermittently. It's sold by WOW LED if you feel this is an option.

There are a few variations of the nightbreaker, is it the H7 for the Jimny?
Cheers.

I think mine are H4 (2009), but I am not 100% sure. I changed mine when I worked for Halfords, never really looked, just removed one lunch break and replaced. Pick of the store plus colleague discount, the one good bit of the job.
Can anyone else confirm H4?
