I'm sure you're all pretty sick of this rearing it's ugly head - but does anyone have a preference for car insurance to include a long list of modifications?

I'm presuming we're talking about specialised brokers and not mainstream insurance companies such as 'Direct Line?

For significant modifications it seems to be Adrian Flux and for less extensive work NFU apparently. I don't use either though as we have a broker for everything through the farm.

You could try Routen Chaplin they insure classic vehicles many of which have been modified, supercharged, and changed out of all proportion from their original spec.
My vintage is insured with them and theyre very helpful. Ask for Jo Wass - she's very very helpful
