Interesting to watch.
Has made me think twice about moving away from HT just to cover my odd venture over a muddy patch, I tend to be more on road than off. I guess in real life the road performance of AT /MT is only going to be an issue if you drive "on the limit".
Very subjective and difficult to test, but nice drifting.

On Tuesday I was retrieving some sheep from a field the track down to which is hard packed stone cobbles with a light cover of mud. Because of the vast amount of rain that we have had recently and having been down earlier in the day with a tractor there was a lot of very fine surface runoff slit and it had been churned up into a soup about 2 inches deep. Nasty slimy stuff. Anyway with a tonne of sheep and trailer on the back and trying to manoeuvre in close confinement I was finding that the bfg urban terrain was having issues with front cornering grip. Not stuck by a long shot but definitely making a meal of the situation, enough for my passenger to notice. However once I got pointing in the right direction off we go climbing back up to civilisation without a murmur. I think that if it were going to be a more regular event then I might consider a slightly more aggressive tyre but for once in a blue moon when I am manoeuvring a trailer in wet mud it's just not enough to justify the impact on road manners. Also without the trailer it would have been a none event.

A very interesting article that.
I'm sure I've seen him before, reviewing and comparing winter tyres V all-season tyres X 4x4 - and that was a real head turner.
