Guys I'm new to this 4x4 stuff.
Can someone please help me with this issue. When I engage the 4h or 4L in my jimny and drive it makes a horrible clicking noise, what can this be ?
Thanks in advance

I think the noise is OK , if it is only for a very short time and if 4WD(-L) is only used on slippery ground.
You could have a look at the wiki, there you find explanations what happens when you press the buttons and also some valuable basics in offroad driving.

Martin
2003 M13 early KAP build.
3" Trailmaster lift with 1.5 Spacers on front
Customised winch bumper and roll cage
235/85R16 Maxxis Bighorns on 16" Rims, 4:1 Rocklobster, Rear ARB locker and on-board air
Corrected arms all-round, rear disks, Recaro seats and harnesses
FIrst of all - NEVER drive in 4WD on the road or other firm surface, it could break the 4WD
The clicking could be a couple of things...
1. Vacuum hub failing to engage properly
2. CV Joint broken

If it does it when turning, mine was caused by a knackered bearing.
