I've been looking to make some sort of floor carpet liners to protect the the zooks footwell from muddy footprints (A bit like Roam Overlanding). I've bought a waterproof canvas boot-liner that i've started to cut to shape.
Today I was recommended these by a friend, they're made of PU leather (I believe) and claim to be totally waterproof/stain proof. They're custom made in the UK (stoke on trent) and are fully tailored to your cars footwell, covering all the way up the transmission tunnel!
Front footwell covers are 96 GBP. A similar price to Genuine suzuki rubber mats, which don't offer the same level of protection. Granted these are a little fancy, but I think they'd look awsome in the J-Wagon.
Very nice but in my experience of pu leathers they are not at all hard wearing, as floor mats they might survive crocs or trainers but muddy gritty work boots I suspect would kill them in a month. I'm on my 4th set of heavy duty rubber mats in 8 years, a car used regularly off road is constantly in an environment that destroys all but the most rugged interior finishes.
