The Vitara calipers have sliders but they slide on a bolt, so you undo the bolt regularly and can grease it easily.

They're the same as SJ calipers and I never had issues or have ever heard of issues with them. So I can see why you want them but there's no need. I've been through the same thought processes.

Oh! That is even more useful. I have looked at them in pictures and not registered the bolt at the sliding element. Thanks.

Due to the shortage of early Vitara calipers to allow fitting vented discs on the front.

I drew up a bracket so that Golf 2.0TD calipers could be used...cheaper to buy new calipers than pry some early vit calipers from someone......and they usually require a rebuild anyhoo.

Essential for spirited driving and 200hp+ Jimny's :D

And they then run the ventilated diesel front disc?

I'd only be after the brackets and would buy new calipers anyway.
