Ok think I found the knocking I forgot to take steering lock off it was that before I rocked the wheel

I (at 70) have not been able to undo the 4 bolts on my car, way too tight. See Thumbnail below.

Are you using a torque wrench George?



Hope not. A torque wrench is for tightening to a set torque, not undoing tight bolts or nuts. A long bar and socket should do it. If not, get a longer bar. :laugh:

Hi you don’t need a torque wrench just a 14mm socket on 3/4 inch ratchet 5 bolts see you have 4 bolts
