Brackets..
what steering pump and generator bracket to use?
Jimny one doesn't fit, but will the baleno clear the frame rails?

Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.

What about a pre 1999 G16B ? (I have a 1996)
Also here's a handy link of a build without an adapter plate
www.bigjimny.com/index.php/forum/7-jimny...ut-using-adapter-kit
Which adapter should you use ?

The pre 1999 does not have the same ignition system so you will have some wiring issues.
The 1996 baleno engine also have a mechanical distributor that protrudes into the firewall of the jimny.
Vitara (not GV) engine is a better choice then if you can find an early one.
I use my own adapters originally designed for SJ. Sold only in Norway.

Ah-ha.... that explains why the cars were so cheap & nobody bought them.
Distributor Adapter designed for SJ: Who makes them ? DG Tuning ? Moes Suzuki Service ?

On my previous jimny i used a 94 vitara engine with mechanical distributor, swapped the 1.3 cam and the cam cover over. No stress!
