Agree - and those nice wide slats should cut down the amount of sunlight hitting that black roof come summer (remember summer?).

The price is a bit eye-watering though - especially considering the 30Kg limit on roof loads!

They do look good, thinking of getting one even though I don't really need one. Just for the looks alone

Hello guys,

30kg? Is this a Jimny roof limit then? or is it just the attached racks limit?

Ive seen people putting way over 30kg on the roof. They may just silly people tho! No shortage of them.

Can anyone confirm roof rack limits for the new Jimny - is there anything in the owners manual for the 2018/2019 cars? I was curious because I keep hearing 30kg but is that just for the official Suzuki parts catalog rack?

These bigger racks look great and have more contact points to spread the load ...but the would weigh more. If it is 30kg including a rack then it is not a lot.

Not sure on the weight limit but I was under the impression it was more than the last model.
