I carry spare clothing in vac bags. Can get them really flat and then store behind the drivers seat or even under the folded down back seat.
Have a smaller one stored inside the seat cover back against the seat to keep in place.

thin stuff, cant take much weight without deforming. Maybe a couple of light jumpers or a coat would be about it.
Soemthing which attached to the grab handles in the rear might be your best option to hang anything in there

Whatever I do needs to be up high to maintain as much of the load deck as possible and also to keep said coats out of the muck and corruption that is a constant presence in the back of the car. I might get the lining out and see if there is anything behind it to attach to.

What about some really strong Neodymium magnets? you can cut some holes / slots in roof lining. attach magnets to roof.
The hang the webbing from these using some small u or n shaped pieces of metal __n__ that stick to the magnets.

I use some 10kg Neodyne on some small lamps I made to have in the car. That is 10kg force (or 98,1N), but it's not a crazy success, because of the lining. I decided to use magnets, as I didn't want to cut holes. If I have to make a hole, I would rather skip the magnet all together.
