I managed with std alloys and no offset with 215's, no catching other than full lock at parking speeds and only a touch.

I wanted a broader footprint and went to -30mm and with now, new suspension, they are fine.

So, std is ok and anywhere up to -30 should be ok if your suspension is in good nick or lifted.

thanks sniper, at the moment i have standard suspension, although I have just placed an order with martin for the 2" lift kit. When i bought the vehicle all the tyres were perished and split in the treads due to being stood so the dealer i bought it off had 4 new tyres fitted. I just want a set of steel wheels with a/t tyres fitted

If your going +2" lift, then as jack says -30 all the way......

This is mine with the spacers on and 215 BFG AT KO2 tyres.

The sidewall of the tyres just peeps out of the arches but all tread is inside. Cracking tyres by the way, improved on the old ones, especially in snow.
