Bellerophon (2024 grello van) daily dose of disappointment.
There's a silly design flaw with the early push button propshaft where a hole allows the oil out. Have a search on here as it's a fairly easy fix.

This picture is the rear prop shaft isn't it?
The shaft seal under the transfer box output flange i guess. Should be most wet on the transfer box by the flange if so.
The oil drops fly around at speed making everything aft of the leak look like a disaster.
Mine leaks a bit btw as mine is a 2005. later 2009-10 or so got a new design.
Tried to seal it with silicone but not a complete success..
I just refill for now while looking for a new(er) shaft.

I thought that was the intermediate shaft between the gearbox and the transfer box, letting the Gearbox oil out?Lambert wrote: There's a silly design flaw with the early push button propshaft where a hole allows the oil out. Have a search on here as it's a fairly easy fix.
