But for all I know it could just be longer springs. And doing what others already provide. Like what Zanfi and Jimnybits do.
Yes, it's all in one neat cheap package. But again. You usually get what you pay for.
When will we see someone do a high quailty kit made with build-to-spec Fox/Bilstein shocks, good quality springs and proper rodends or at least quality bushings. That would be interesting, and of course more expensive.
That's where I'm at with mine is needing to determine the specifications for a proper suspension system using proper components. There is nothing wrong with working on a budget and getting as much as you can for it but on a heavily modified truck you have to be confident that it's going to do what you expect when you expect it. If like me that means handling 3 times more power safely on the road then that confidence comes with a hefty price tag. If however you're only pottering about in a quarry every second weekend and the car gets trailered there that allows you more freedom to not spend thousands of pounds on springs and dampers.

I don't think it does. What it leaves you with is needing to know what you're buying and what you can expect from it and whether it is suitable for your intended use. I could buy a trailmaster lift kit for mine and I could be confident inits quality and it's suitability for my car but given what I'm planning for my car that wouldn't be a sensible choice for track days in the same way that short stiff coilovers wouldn't be sensible for a green lane car. As my car is used at the moment for commuting and farming the standard suspension makes most sense but as I change its focus into something very specific so i have to alter everything to become suitable.

I saw a OME(mu) kit on a Jimny, and it needed spacers between spring coils and chassis to correct the car's stance... for me that isn't acceptable after paying premium price for a suspension kit.
Also I fully agree that for road use (and not only), safety should come first.
Having said that I have just fitted new springs progressive from a famous Italian company and had to fit spacers because it was leaning too much I was not happy for the price I paid
So this brand in my opinion is not bad at all after seeing there work and very good price especially for a full 3" lift kit
