Broken vacuum pipes. was created by starletman
I noticed while under the JImny today that the vacuum pipes are broken, however my 4wd light stays on and the 4wd is working fine.If they broke after 4wd was engaged does that mean they are locked.I only only use it 4wd low.

Check the vacuum switch - Jimny owners usually short circuit the contacts of the switch connector to fool the system that is has vacuum, therefore system isn't reporting any issues or leaks.

Hubs are permanently engaged (wheels coupled to the front transmission) and when switching from 2x4 to 4x4 H/L, the system is only coupling the front shaft.
