Don't know about a tablet holder but would also be interested in that !
As for gps, either memory map or view ranger..
I think viewranger is a better overall package with lots of possibilities.

If I were you having a 2005 or later Jimny I would install somerhing I've got in my Jimny. It's a built in Android tablet. It has internet connection and built in GPS also. I use BackCountry Navigator Pro version which can show KMZ content (Google Earth) on OS maps. No holder needed. For street navigation it has Tom Tom GO.

Has anyone tried Gaia GPS for mapping? It is popular in the US and does have OS maps here on it. I have just downloaded it as a trial to test it out.
