Just filled up this morning..Had 243 on trip...i normally get 230-280 on a tank..mostly 50-60 mph..occasional 5th gear motorway 65-70mph..
Best ive had was 320 steady running around lakes..45-50mph..
Seems to be good for a jimster..
No major mods..other than 2inch lift and snorkel..k@n filters..bigger boots 215.70x15. geolandars.

After problem with my aircon compressor bearing failing, and reading a post from Halford about bypassing it and increasing the MPG a fair bit, I have ordered a belt to bypass it and see what difference that makes, maybe other aircon jimnys have the same problem?

According to my fuel spend app, I'm only getting 22 MPG, not the advertised 35.
I think she's running a bit rich though, any idea why?
Also I heard from the AA Bloke last time I broke down, that the aftermarket Catalytic converter might impact the amount of fuel I used
I went to Edinburgh this weekend and it cost me £149 in fuel :woohoo:

I'm getting about 200 per tank based on 100 miles per half tank, running Goodyear wrangler 217-75s no lift.
Heard that the stock exhaust can be a bit of a nightmare for fuel consumption so plan to get a new SS made at somepoint
