Just thought you guys might be interested in some photos I got today parked up beside a beast of a RAM. The head of my snorkel was only just higher than it's bonnet haha. Very cool truck.

That's ridiculous, what possible benefit can be found in a car that huge?

I imagine it's main benefit is for mid Western farmers hauling enormous loads. But yes I definitely get your point!

A landrover wins in tug of war over that american monstrosity, so there goes the "haul large loads" ..

I can tell you guys this much. Neither of you probably haven't driven one. If you had.. you'd know
Instead of sitting shoulder to shoulder in a jimny it's almost possible to sit 3 grown men next to eachother on the front seats.
It can pull the biggest trailer possible without you noticing.
And one more thing, it's a proper truck. Like a gazillion times more manly than a jimny will ever be. 33-37" tyres or not
A still drives much more comfortable on road than a jimny.

It has well over double the towing capacity of a Defender, a tug of war isn't a particularly useful test.
