I am quite an active member on other car forums but what brings me to this one?
Well things are changing in my life and my other car is a garage queen and has only seen rain about 6 times in the last 8 years i've owned it and as my youngest son is thinking of moving out (i have insurance on his car and when he goes i won't have a car i can just jump into whenever i want) i pondered hard and decided i needed a Jimny.
The car fits everything i need in a daily run about, cute, practical and just about perfect for my needs.
I am no stranger to spanners as i am a mobile fork lift engineer......42 years and still plodding.
I bought the Jimny last Saturday and apart from driving it home and spending Sunday cleaning and polishing it i haven't even had chance to sit in it yet due to averaging 2-300 miles a day in the works van.
I have a few questions but i will leave them for another time.
Dave.
