I'm thinking about buying one for myself at home ...

Has anyone got one at home and would they recommend it, and where did you buy it from?

Thanks
Brett

Thanks Jason - Is it good for the Jimny Long Rear Shafts too?

Never tried a rear shaft
But you could always remove the bed and use something on the floor
That will give you over 800mm
just make sure its bolted to the floor well
(i have no clue how much pressure you need to fit the bearing/retainer/abs ring)
or get a slimline bed fabricated ;)

There are loads of copycat ones of the machine mart one linked on ebay. I would avoid it as the design allows for it to push off centre, risking the piece flying out of the machine under heavy pressure! Its essentially a sprungloaded bottle jack design. The ones which have a solid long ram are much safer.

This is the one i have (but it defo wont do the rear bearings as not long enough, does everything else happily and safely)...

I've just switched between eBay accounts, and when I logged out it knew I'd just been on the MachineMart site looking at this, and it popped up and said use "EBAY20" at the checkout to get 20% off !

;)
