Hi,

I just bought a 2002 Suzuki Santana, one of those assembled in Spain with VSE in the VIN number. There doesn't seem to be much resource online, in terms of info and manuals etc, does anyone else here have experience with them and know where to look for info. I think some of the spares are different to the Japanese made ones?

Any info much appreciated.

The Santana Jimnys were common as mud. I wouldn't worry about it. Just quote the vin number when ordering parts and you will have no problems. I've had my Jimny Ragtop for 16 years and never had any hassles. They were all made in Spain.

I have a Santana too. And the only weird thing is that I have an M13A engine when it should be G13b according to the VIN number (and other car documents) - might have been swapped by one of the owners though...

All the Suzuki Jimny Service Manuals, as listed here: www.bigjimny.com/mediawiki/index.php/Man...ent.29_names_by_type will be appropriate. Just double check everything when you work with your car: it's a Santana, so they might have messed up a thing or two (like my engine ;) ) AND you bought a used car, so you can never be sure what the previous owner did to the car earlier ;)
