Ran into Western Grey Kangaroo, well, not quite but...

(Western Greys are not to be messed with, standing 6' to 7' tall and quite capable of ripping pig dogs apart)

Came around sweeping bend on the Mallee Highway and there's the Black Face standing partly on the bitumen so I hit the anchors and pull up about 2 foot from this bugga. Gives me the evil eye and then, casual as all hell, leans back on his tail and kicks in my bumper bar, which is plastic.
Bastard! grrrrrr. I jump out of my car and cross around behind. He must know what that means and moved off along the road out of rifle range... but I was just going to check the damage. Bloody plastic bumper is pushed in so I open passenger door to grab camera for photos for insurance and as I do, hear a kerplop sound so go to inspect and bumper has completely popped back into shape Ha ha ha, good ol' plastic bumper. :woohoo:
So anyway, I drive off and there's the bloody 'roo standing by the roadside and giving me what I now know is "The Baleful Glare" so I point to the bumper which has popped out and then stick my finger up at him. Just then, on my music stick which is playing through the car stereo, comes the song "King of the Road". Yep, that's me Ian 1, roo zip zero nought and nada. :P

Here's a link to a Pig Dog Association. www.apdha.org.au/

Pig Dogs are used to track down feral pigs and are usually bred from strong breeds like Staffies and Arab Bull Pits, big and strong and fearless. We have a large feral pig problem in some areas of Oz and they are great Working Dogs.

The Jimny has a Nudge Bar but a Kangaroo is a big animal and unless one is driving a Semi then it is better to avoid them.
What I have...

What I need...

That is what 99.99% of Semis have in front in Australia. Roos are a real problem.

This photo shows the result of roo through windscreen. Driver dead.

Bullbar has worked here, no human injured.
