I think you will find that they changed the handling set up on the Jimny to break loose at the rear rather
than roll. Much more fun on a wet roundabout.

always wondered where that rumour came from!
all i can say is even with 4" lift it still takes some to make it wobble about on corners.
was doing massive 4wd donuts on the beach last year in it and was really stable even when it dug in

That was the result of the Swedish elk test in a 36mph swerve without braking, resulted in it never being sold in Sweden I believe?
