Rusted fog light was created by mark_w
Noticed that one of my fog lights hanging off this morning
Upon inspection, the metal bracket holding the thing in place has just completely rusted away.
Anyone know if I can get a new bracket to secure the light back on?
Also, i've never had a car so prone to rust damage than this jimny -.-

Correct me if i am wrong...you say the bracket holding the light to the jeep has rusted away..so its the bracket which js at fault not the jeep.....the jeep is not prone to rusting in this case
.. what year is jeep ? Have you tried wax oiling it..i have a 2007..use motorways a lot and winter months its salted....worked for a company once that had stocks of road salt..5 year later..not a hint of rust or corrosion on it..how about using a bracket that not made of metal
...or spray etal bracket with anti rust inhibetor..good luck..

Mines an 07 as well
Just had a lot of replacements needed due to bad rusting.
Had 2 heavily rusted exhausts in the 2ish years i've had it.
If I find a non metal bracket i'll go for it, having a gander for one on ebay now

Mine is a 2005, it sits outside all the time and I live by the sea so lots of salt air. Not a hint of rust apart
from the bit that the paint has flaked off from hitting a tree.
