Has anyone a solution to protecting the cable of a light bar where it comes out of the housing.
I live in a suburbs of a city and where i live is safe from vandalism, however while i have seen many videos and documents on how idestructable wjthin reason these light bars are,the do have one flaw...the cable...there are some amazing jimny photos on here and a lot of time, effort and hard earned cash put into them..nothing worse having them damaged by third parties who have no respect for others peoples property. I recently after many headaches had a light bar installed on my jimny...i bought a bull bar..it does look the part.
Sure its more cosmetic...and my light bar is fitted to same.i am fortunate that it was a pain to get cable to sit out of site so it cant be damaged,i am wondering if anyone who has fitted lights to roofs, roof racks have methods to protect the wiring looms ..pardon any typos and spellings...tapping one finger on tablet is not the same as lc with a key board.:woohoo:

If you are looking for protection against a reasonable level of abuse, you can cover them with with sleeves similar to these:

If you are trying to prevent them from being cut by someone determined to do so, I'm not sure there is much you can do. Even covering them with a length of metallic conduit won't likely protect you from vandalism.
Hope this helps.

Hi thanks for the tip.i will try the steel braided line and plastic conduit...it more for preventative measures as my jimny is more on road use. However ibought one of those remote control units which has different settings to turn the light bar into a giant SOS morse code iluminator wbich works very well. I also do video and photography and these light bar give great light, the strobe effect great for moving shots, yes i know i have gone off topic,,i cant help that...but thank you for you tip..
