2008 vvt Jimny, stuck in low range was created by philpridd
hello all, having just fitted a jimny bits heavy duty transfer mounting bracket, I went for a short run to check everything out.4wd engaged ok,but it took a few presses on the button to get it in low range. I now find it is stuck in low range,so turned the avm hubs to 4wd,and went for a 200 yard drive down the road, stopped and tried again, the low range light flashes and it beeps, but still wont come out of low range.Reversed 200 yards back, tried again it still woukdnt come out,so turned the front hubs bacj to 2 wd, and went round the block again,no good it seems well and truly stuck in low,I didn't disconnect any of the wiring, and am pretty sure I havnt broke any of the wires when putting the new bracket on.Anyone have any ideas on how I can get it out of low range? thanks Phil. The only thing I did notice was the new heavy duty bracket seems to have raised the transfer box up slightly,I wondered maybe if this was causing it to stick in low,
