Yes I would check tyre pressures, tyre make / type and shocks BUT you have to remember it will never perform like a modern passenger car or crossover on the road. It's designed as a 4x4 utility vehicle and does that extremely well, it's less good on the comfort on road performance. Two different purposes and design needs.

I use high range 4wd on dirt roads. Works much better.

As others have said, its the overall suspension setup which is responsible for the on road handling and comfort. They can be rough over bumps and jump around a bit, but when travelling alone I ignore it. I find they actually handle quite well when you consider the live axle setup :)

I go with this especially if you are used to a more conventional car then the Jimny is like a Drayton Manor Park ride for jolts and bumps.:laugh: :blink:
