Hi is there anyone in the suzuki comunity breaking a 2004 grand vitara 2.0 diesl im urgently after a ignition barrel set up and the central locking key for that barrel my father has broken the wrong key in the lock and he has been quoted 427.00 for a new one money he just aint got so im trying to find a cheaper option that I will pay for thank you all in advance

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

If you get the barrel out, you should be able to remove the broken off key, you need the barrel out to swap it anyway.
From memory, the barrel has to have the correct key in to come out though, depends how close the broken one is I suppose.
I've heard of people who have drilled a tiny drill into a broken key, and used a small screw to pull it out.

With the barrel on the bench with the broken key in it, if it's straight, won't the key fall out if tapped hard on the edge of the bench upside down a lot of times?
