Good read. I was there only a few weeks earlier.
9th & 10th July. But there was a lot more water then. Water coming over all of the dams.
The lane round the lakes was horribly bumpy, won't be rushing to do it again, despite the views.
Some lanes in the area seemed rather overgrown too.
But very pretty views.
Sadly the 'off piste' bits you mention on the Strata Florida. The scarring and tracks were caused largely by a bunch of cretins we saw when we were out there. A group of 3 Disco's, set on causing destruction and not caring at all.

That brought back some memories.
Did Strata Florida 2 years ago (in the opposite direction) in my lwb shogun.
My mate blew his rear diff so i had to tow him to the top of the hill where we were camping. :evil:
