Bit of oil on garage floor and inner wheel this morning. (13plate jim)
Jacked up and noticed oil leaking from bearing ? (or is it seal) as in pic.
Can I still drive the car whilst its leaking?
Is it an easy fix ? and are the bits readily available
Intend taking into bro-in-laws garage in morning to be put on the lift and inspected further.

That'll be a kingpin failed. If it's a 13 is it still in warranty or not very long out of it? If so let suzuki deal with it , a car should get beyond 3 years old before needing the axle rebuilding.

It's not dangerous to drive like that but it is easy to fix and should be dealt with as soon as possible. The oil that is leaking out is from the differential. When the kingpin bearings fail they create a small amount of play between the axle and swivel. This causes the driveshaft to enlarge the hole in the axle oil seal and the axle oil seeps out.

To fix it you will require a pair of kingpin bearings and a driveshaft oil seal, available from the Big Jimny shop or your local bearing supplier. It will take a competent mechanic less than a couple of hours to fix.

I just had the same problem - in the technical forum. I would prefer to always buy from the BigJimny shop as Martin is very helpful and knows his stuff. As they were out of stock I managed to get some through e-bay - Cumbria Suzuki.
Start soaking the ABS sensor bolt in WD40 now!
