Jacked up and noticed oil leaking from bearing ? (or is it seal) as in pic.
Can I still drive the car whilst its leaking?
Is it an easy fix ? and are the bits readily available
Intend taking into bro-in-laws garage in morning to be put on the lift and inspected further.

To fix it you will require a pair of kingpin bearings and a driveshaft oil seal, available from the Big Jimny shop or your local bearing supplier. It will take a competent mechanic less than a couple of hours to fix.

Busta wrote: It's not dangerous to drive like that but it is easy to fix and should be dealt with as soon as possible. The oil that is leaking out is from the differential. When the kingpin bearings fail they create a small amount of play between the axle and swivel. This causes the driveshaft to enlarge the hole in the axle oil seal and the axle oil seeps out.
