Inspired by your bumper cut, im going for it also

started on this before cutting bumper to see if i can make something like that A-bar on the white jimny pictured (tho without the actual a-bar and a bit of a more snug fit)...
thoughts appreciated...

Looking good Riccy that wil look good when it's fitted

Is it going round the sides of the bumper or just the front?

the skid plate thing is mainly to hide all the bits of metal that suzuki didnt want to paint behind the bumper (odd white square where there must have been a sticker).
Need to sort out some tow points for the front of it also.
ran out of mig wire yesterday so off to toolstation this morning

Once its finished and test fitted its going for powder coating
it will bolt straight onto the factory bumper mount brackets, though some strengthening will be needed for tow points
it slots over the original bracket and then bolts through it neatly

Riccy wrote: it will wrap around a little bit and sit under the edge made by cutting the bumpers back, so theres another few bends to do to get it the right shape. will also bring the ends to a rounded point to neaten them up. It should sit pretty flush with the edge of the plastic bits hopefuly.
