After years of wanting one, I finally got myself a Jimny
It's 2004, 58K and in good general condition considering the previous owners didn't rate car maintenance too highly. Spent a whole day cleaning as it was covered in hundreds of flower decals and the interior reeked of dog p*ss. The boot carpet got a very good clean...
It has a serious death wobble at 45-50 which the seller forgot to mention, the test drive was in a built up area so I didn't experience until driving home
, but still, I should be able to tackle it based on the how-to guide in the forum.
It needs new tyres, i'm planning of getting some steel modulars and 215/75 all terrains, also new brakes urgently, new seatbelts all round - dogs...
Anyway, great little car, looking forward to it
