Is there a lot of Jimny owners in Durham? Long shot but keep your eyes peeled for a chance of identifying a new seal fitted. Did yours have any stickers on it that could be traced? Just a thought. I will bet that if you see a Jimny you cannot resist trying to see if it looks suspicious.! It beggars believe what the scumbags will do. My daughter had a early Fiat Panda with the double soft tops when she was at uni in Stoke and one night somebody cut the front one to steal a large bottle of coke which had water in it and the Haynes manual for the car. Luckily I got a second hand soft top but it had unsettled her about the security aspect and we had to change the car for her. She loved that little car as it was her first and gave her her independence .

They took it out of my 58 plate,it had my BASC & National Game keepers stickers in the back.Had to bite the bullet and order a seal from Suzuki £70 plus the £75 for Auto Glass to put a new window in.Was a couple in my scrapyard & the guy said £30 for both seal and glass .But when i got there, one had no glass & seal, the other no tailgate.Phoned CamSuzuki and the likes on the bay,but they will not split a tailgate.

There is an aluminium one for sale in the For Sale section!
Well now you have some indicators to look out for on the glass even if they take the stickers off unless they are scrupulous cleaners, which I doubt. Their type tend to be lazy!!

Are you talking about rear door or side windows, I will keep my eye out for the stickers.

It makes me wonder is it worth going to the effort of etching the windows with a dremmel.
