It's the perfect size to bolt straight to the Jimny bars. I looked for ages for one that was a perfect fit because I think they look untidy if you have rails going all over the place just to fix them on.

If you exceed this, the plastic ends break and your luggage falls on the road. :ohmy:
People have lost them transporting sheets of wood, as they act as a sail and rip the rails off.

I've made up some steel rails that fix directly to the bolts in the roof. They are pretty simple and strong.

Rockwatt has produced one like the basket one first posted that is much better and had feet that bolt to the original mounting bolts, eliminating the plastic mounts that limit the weight.
He mentioned on here within the last month or so that he doesn't have them in production at the moment because he's busy with other things but you might be able to press him into making you one.
