Hi Guys,
I've a 2004 jimny that leans, everything is standard so I am buying new shocks and springs still keeping standard, so far I have bought suplex rear springs keeping with Mr Suzuki's different rear springs for RHD , why is the passenger rear the longer one with more coils? I'm just trying to understand how this helps keep the car level, as the front springs will be the same length and as I understand there is more weight on the drivers side.
The springs I have are 41012 listed as passenger side (20mm longer more coils) and 41011 drivers side.

The longer one goes on the driver's side on right hand drive vehicles due to the fuel tank position and the vehicle having always got at least one occupant on that side.

just a guess but as they're a german co
they drive on the right
i.e. the driver sits on the left hand side, hence the spring marked "driver" may actually go on the left in the UK
