I recently had a new clutch fitted on my car and ever since it was done ive had the odd starting problem now and then. the majority of the time my car will start up fine with no problems whatsoever and then sometimes after a hour drive or so and the engine has been off i turn the ignition on and im not getting anything except from a buzzing sound and then after about a few mins the car will suddenly start up, any clue what this may be? any help would be much appreciated

It sounds like it could be a problem with the earth strap from the engine.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

Similar problem to mine. In brief the garage think it is Crank sensor, others disagree.

bit of an update, last week i used some sandpaper and gave the terminals a clean aswell as sanding abit of the paint away on the body of the car where the battery ground is located. I also checked the fuses in the engine bay and noticed the copper looked corroded, so i may yet change them at some point, but atm i havent used the car as much as i usually do but so far ive had no problems, i will keep you up to date if it comes back again
