Phone mounts was created by Benn
I'm looking for a good way to mount my phone securely on the dashboard so that it doesn't wobble around and so I can see it for navigating. I currently have a mount suctioned on to the windscreen, but it vibrates so much I can't use it.
So, I was wondering what good solutions people have come up with?

Ive used brodit proclips before (not on a Jimny to be fair) and I liked them. I have a quick look on their site brodit.com but they only seem to list a mount for the preface lift Jimny. Don't know if that's any help to you.

I did this

needs the radio fascia off and drill pilot holes through top dash into air vents.

but personally prefer helijohn's approach
small squares of glass held in place with tile sticky pads

trouble is the Jimny does [strike]bounce[/strike] crash around alot

;)

Thanks Mike. In fact I have done exactly the same with my Junior and intend to mount a dash cam on it when the TomTom is not being used.

Thanks for the replies. I have a brodit on my company car which is great, but I wasn't too sure about it on the Jimmy as it fits over the heater controls, and so may be annoying.

I hadn't thought about the glass idea, but I think that will now be the first step.
