I would not have aircon on my list. I only use mine at temperatures over 25° and how often do we get that?? Same with sunroofs, not on my list of priorities. On the other hand, strangely, I like to have an external thermometer and compass.

Thanks again.

I rarely use the air conditioning on mine if it's warm mostly I use it when it is wet as it demisters the car in seconds and getting in and out a lot in the rain as I do on the farm it is a great tool.

Hi, that's what I'm thinking. Great for demisting but how often do we get prolonged warm spells anyway. The rest of the car looks great so I'll take a look this afternoon.
I will need an outside temp and compass though!

Personally I would never be with out air con, in the winter and when it's raining it stops the windows from misting up. Air con is not just for warm days

I find the regular demisting works fine for that.
What I am always thinking when using aircon is the extra fuel it uses and the load on the charging system too, more maintenance etc.etc.
If I lived a much warmer climate like in parts of Australia where temperatures never really fell below 15+° it would be a no brainer.

I've never turned the aircon off on any car I've had
The difference in mpg is much less than opening windows
The only car we have without aircon is the Jimmy ........and it doesn't have a lot of things
Rear wiper
Reversing lights
Heated rear window
Carpets
Lol
