I have a 2000 jimny convertible that is just sitting on my brothers drive as I have got hold of a vitara as a runabout, its got very short mot , will need a clutch soon, and was just wondering what folks would reckon is the best way to get rid of it.

Breaking it for parts will get you more money for it but also can be a while for things to sell. You could put it for sale with a ridiculously cheap price to get rid of it soon out the wa. Entirely depends how in the way and how much time you have

It would sell a lot easier with a new MOT, would it need much to pass a test? We had a 52 reg Pug 206 only got bid £180 at auction with 1 month MOT. Put on new disks, track rods and a new MOT and advertised on Gumtree. Had more than 10 enquiries, first guy who viewed bought it for £475.

On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.
