The Clarion CD/Radio in my 2004 Jimny as started jumping and pausing when playing CDs and driving over pot holes and bumps etc. I've never noticed it until now. Is this a regular thing or as the 'shock absorbency' gone from the head unit?

Crickey, I don't think I've listened to an actual CD for a while now!

It's all digital now don't you know Darling!!!

In all seriousness, yes the CD player has gone up the spout and the only way to stop it is to replace it.

You can get a good brand from Halfords for not a lot of money these days.

Cheers for that Kirkynut. Thought as much. I'd like an original so will see if anyone's got one going spare on the sale spot.

I like the retro ways. I'd put a turntable in if I had the room! :-)

Mine jumps towards the end of a CD that has a lot of tracks crammed on it. Is that too many tracks or a head unit on the way out?
