Help Required.

I intend to de-badge the Jimny this year as I have an 02 model which has 3 chrome badges on each door and 2 on the rear, too much bling for me.

I imagine plenty of you have done this so any advice on the best way to remove the offending items would be much appreciated.

GENTLE application of a heat gun and some dental floss used to work for me. Some advocate fishing line, which could be better... and kettles of boiling water rather than a heatgun does sound sensible... Don't want to melt your paint!

Hi mate, did mine a couple of days ago. Heat gun or hairdryer just dont go to close to the paint work. Peel of bagdes then use a credit card or similar to gently take of the glue. Then when finished rub down with some wd4, then bobs your uncle nice clean looking rear.. Watch those fingers with warm metal and glue ;)

I've done this on loads of different cars especially bmw's as people want to look like they got a better one than they really have, we used to just use an old credit card and push it under the letters and it pops off doesn't damage the paint either the. We had tar and glue remover to get the last bit of the gluey stuff off
