winchmax 3000lb any good was created by suzukisam
Thinking of buying a winchmax 3000lb winch my brother in law has a 3500lb winch on his jimny and it pulls him and me out when we get stuck do you think a 3000lb would pull jimny out when stuck ? Obviously not up hills etc but just generally would it help i cant get much bigger as i have a rock bumper custom so needs to be a small compact winch and they look good .
Was also thinking obviously when winching you would be trying to drive at same time helping take weight off the winch ??

A 3000lb winch will probably do just fine in must situations. But there's not a lot of room for extra pulling if you ever get stuck in deep mud.
I know you can always double the line with a snatch block, but this winch is roughly the same price, but far more pulling power. www.electricwinchshop.co.uk/warrior-c4500-ewx-12v-winch.html
Don't be fooled by the steel rope. It's just a good as the cheap 5-6mm synthetic on the Winchmax 3000lb winch.
