I was looking mainly at hard tops to begin with, and everyone that I called about a hardtop had sold with in about 1 day of the ad being posted. I presumed that the hard tops were more desirable than soft tops, so I started to look for them. I have found a former cat C that looks very nice, and is for the correct money, but is a soft top. I was just interested in see what options I had with a conversion. I felt like keeping the soft top could maybe cause problems at some point, so was interested in what others had done to their soft top Jimny's. Thanks!

I bought mine new, after three replacements under warranty I splashed out on the genuine Suzuki Hardtop, never taken it off since and should have bought a hardtop in the first place, but I do sometimes swap the small hardtop front section for the soft top flip back roof, rear will never come off though .
With a soft top it's a real pain getting in and out of the boot.

Thanks for that Gary, I'll keep that in mind.
I have had a look on eBay within 50 miles of me, and saw some that I quiet like the look of, so went to have a look at them. I know the Jimny is an old car, but they had some bad problems. The underneath of the car was covered in under seal, possibly covering something hideous up. They also had head gasket problem that I did not want to get involved with, so I thought about looking at a soft top. I'm going to have a look at the soft top in a few hours, so hopefully this could be the one. Thanks!
